The irony is
that I have longed for this
for you to finally crack
and talk to me
how has the law
of unintended consequences
come into play here
As I listen to you say
that you're not sure
if you want me any more
that you've felt
like this
for quite a while now
which leaves me
here
oh jos....
ReplyDeletethis is hauntingly beautiful. all of it.
"how has the law
of unintended consequences
come into play here"
this line portends such a fundamental question...
my love follows you, jos. you know you have a community here.

Thank you so much for you're caring message. My hubby is the same. He as only had 1 and half days of sick in his life and goes to work feeling very ill sometimes. Sounds like we have soldiers looking after us. Bless them both.

ReplyDeleteSometimes we want what we don’t really want. But how can we get to the juice if we dare not peel the fruit?
For there’s juice there. Whatever the taste is.
Wishing you the sweetest, the best.

Hello, Jos! Oh goodness, your poems are powerful. They evoke so much feeling and imagination, a visceral stirring. They have honesty and vulnerability. Beautiful.
